Idéal pour la désinsectisation des locaux de stockage. La haute vitesse de l’air pulsé par ces appareils leur permettent une portée exceptionnelle, en un brouillard extrêmement fin et compact de particules de même taille.

Cold Nebulization

To effectively protect the stored grains, the Compagnie Générale des Insecticides developed in 1966 a revolutionary process: « cold fogging ». Regularly improved since then, this process involves coating the grain in motion with an extremely fine mist ensuring a homogeneous distribution of the insecticide.

Surface treatment

Floors, walls and supports nearby: all surfaces that may come into contact with stored grain may be a source of infestation and must be treated with a pre-press or maintained agricultural sprayer. The insecticide thus applied will be active for several months.

Volume treatment

In addition to the surface treatment, it is also possible to proceed with the volume treatment that makes it possible to reach the very high parts. Its effectiveness will be all the greater as the local will have the capacity to hold the insecticide in the atmosphere for a sufficient time to act, the necessary contact time may vary from 1 to 6 hours depending on the thiness of the fog and the temperature. The equipment used must generate a spectrum of very fine dry or liquid particles in order to reach the furthest parts of the generator and keep them suspended in the atmosphere as long as possible.

Which material to choose?

Rather than using a thermal fogger that generates ultra-fine particles (0.3 to 1 micron) but alters the active ingredients by the heat released during the injection on the exhaust of an internal combustion engine, SOJAM recommends the use of a cold atomizer, electric or thermal motor. In this case, the active ingredients are preserved even if the particles are larger (between 9 and 30 microns). And the turbocharger units can reach much higher heights (up to 30 m), which is an additional guarantee of efficiency.
